Ubisoft has officially revealed the action adventure game Beyond Good and Evil 2. The game is the prequel to the original that released in 2003.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the spiritual successor to 2003 classic Beyond Good and Evil. The prequel will transport players into a "profoundly multicultural world", capturing the spirit of the original with "grandiose decors" and "intense dramas" that play out across a vast universe.
In the game players will journey to System 3, the center of interstellar trade and colonization in the Milky Way of the 24th century, thanks to the creation of Hybrid slaves.
While private enterprises fight over resources and power, the first colonists weave together the rich and diverse spiritual and cultural heritages of Old Earth to give meaning to their existence.
In this new era of piracy, players will rise from lowly pirate to legendary captain at the helm of massive star-faring vessels, adventuring alongside crews of characters to fight for freedom.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is expected to launch in the fall of 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

This comment has been removed. After having read some recent interviews with the lead developer (the games' current status is supposedly 'day zero of development') and this Space-Monkey-Program, something tells me that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is on the verge of becoming the next No Man's Sky or so ... we all know how that turned out :-)
