Blizzard has announced that its hero shooter game Overwatch will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. The Legendary Edition releases in October.
The release for the Nintendo Switch will be the Legendary Edition, which comes complete with all of the latest heroes, maps, and game updates along with a new Nintendo Switch exclusive control option that takes advantage of the console's unique capabilities.
The game features 31 unique heroes, each bringing their own incredible powers and ultimate abilities into battle on objective-based maps set across the world.
Players can switch heroes mid-match to adapt to the ever-changing situation on the field, but victory will best be achieved when heroes combine their powers and act as a unified team.
The game originally released in 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The open beta for the game was played by more than 9.7 million people.
Overwatch for Nintendo Switch releases on October 15, 2019.
