Details on the next Overwatch event that were supposed to be released tomorrow were accidentally released ahead of schedule when Sony published a trailer for the game's upcoming event one day too early.
The new Overwatch event will be titled Insurrection in the French version of the game and Uprising in the English version and will run from April 11th 2017 until May 1st 2017. Blizzard started teasing a new event for the game last week when the game developer announced that new details would be released on April 11th 2017.
The trailer for the upcoming Insurrection event was supposed to be released tomorrow but briefly appeared on the french version of Sony's official PlayStation YouTube channel.
Although not much can be deduced from the trailer, it is clear that the event will focus on a battle between the Omnics and a team consisting of Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt and Torbjörn taking place 7 years prior to the game's current timeline.
All characters in the trailer seem to be equipped with the Agents of Overwatch outfit. The trailer also teases the introduction of the Blackwatch outfit for the characters McCree and Genji as well as other outfits for the characters Windowmaker and Orisa.
