The British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) have today
announced that Rockstar Games will be presented with the BAFTA fellowship at
this years awards ceremony at the Tobacco Dock, London, on Wednesday,
March 12th.
The BAFTA Fellowship is a lifetime achievement award presented by BAFTA since 1971 "in recognition of outstanding achievement in the art forms of the moving image", and is the highest honour the Academy can bestow.

In the past fellowships have been bestowed for ground breaking work in games and include well-known game developers and designers such as Gabe Newell, Peter Molyneux, Shigeru Myamoto and Will Wright.
The driving forces behind Rockstar Games, Sam Houser, Dan Houser, Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut will attend the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the company.
