Max Payne 3 crews feature to be used in more Rockstar titles

Friday, March 23, 2012 | 09:04 GMT

The \"Crews\" feature of Max Payne 3 is basically the same as what would be clans or guilds in other games. Rockstar Games has revealed that if you join a crew in MP3, that same crew can be carried over into GTA V.

For example, these crews will have a vendetta system. If some specific player kills you a few times in a multiplayer match in MP3, you will have a vendetta on him. Now, you could encounter him in GTA V and maybe you are better than him there. You can settle your vendetta this way. This is all tracked through the Rockstar Games Social Club.

The same would work with crew Feuds, only this is between crews instead of players. In essence, this carry over system seems to be an interesting feature. Rockstar Games has been rebuilding Social Club after it was shot down by the community as a failure and a let-down in social networking.
