Quantic Dream has announced it will be releasing its neo-noir thriller game Detroit: Become Human for the PC this fall. The game will be a one-year exclusive on Epic Games Store.
In Detroit: Become Human there are multiple playable characters who can die as the story continues without them. The story will branch out depending on which choices are made. As such, the plot revolves around several playable characters.
Among them are androids Kara, who escapes her owner to explore her newfound sentience, and Connor, whose job it is to hunt her kind. Characters may survive or perish depending on the choices that are made in the game.
The game was a PlayStation 4 exclusive title, but the studio recently announced it started focusing on multiplatform games again.
The game will not be available on Steam the first year because Quantic Dream negotiated a one-year exclusivity deal with Epic Games to release it on the Epic Games Store exclusively.
Detroit: Become Human for PC will release this fall. A specific release date was not announced yet. A free playable demo will be available this summer.
