Microsoft will be releasing The Master Chief Collection in parts, with Halo Reach being the first in the series to be available. Other franchise entries will be released later in chronological order. Publication dates or prices were not disclosed.

The collection also contains Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. Each game can be purchased separately. In addition to the story missions, multiplayer will also be available. Previously, only the first two Halo games were available on PC.

The games were already rumored to be making its way to the PC in 2017 when Halo artwork showed up during an AMD Ryzen event.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC does not yet have a release date.
