Development studio Psyonix has announced a new free update for Rocket League. The Salty Shores update will release on May 29, 2018.


The new Salty Shores update will include a new free arena that is themed around beach life, a new sound track, new items, and new vehicles.

The new update is also the start of the eight competitive season. A new event called "Beach Blast" was also announced, which starts on June 11, 2018, and ends on July 2, 2018. The exact details on the event have yet to be released.
