Development studio Avalanche Studios has released a new developer diary video for its upcoming game Just Cause 4. In the video the game's developers discuss the Apex game engine.


In Just Cause 4 rogue agent Rico Rodriguez journeys to Solis, a huge South American world home of conflict, oppression and extreme weather conditions. The game will feature the expected wingsuit with various new tweaks and a fully customizable grappling hook.

According to a recent statement, the game's engine delivers "the most interactive, extreme weather simulations ever seen in a video game", complimented by "incredible visuals, unparalleled physics and endless creative possibilities".

Just Cause 4 will release on December 4, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
