THQ Nordic has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming post-apocalyptic open-world RPG game Biomutant.
Biomutant is said to be a kung fu fable filled with fantastic creatures to discover, dangerous factions to navigate, and colorful worlds to explore with mechs, paragliders, balloons, mounts, jet skis and more.
The singleplayer campaign tells an "unusual story with an unusual end" where the player's actions play a major part in the unfolding of the story.
The game focuses on third person combat as players progress through the martial arts styled combat system. As players advance they will be able to change gameplay by "re-coding their genetic structure" to change the way their character looks and plays.
Biomutant also features a crafting system that allows players to craft weapons, including revolvers, rifles, shotguns and melee weapons.
THQ Nordic acquired the game's development studio, Element 101, back in November. The game has been in development for several years.
Biomutant is expected to launch in 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
