Rockstar Games will be launching a holiday update for Grand Theft Auto Online soon. The update will contain both old and new content.

The new holiday update for the game will re-introduce all clothing items released in the previously released Holiday Gifts and Festive Surprise updates, though will also contain new content.

New content introduced this year include several new outfits, a new vehicle and new weapons for people to use, including a holiday-themed pajama outfit, unicorn and beast masks and festive sticky bombs.

As expected, also making a return this year are holiday decorations in player housing and in the normal game world, the Fireworks Launcher weapon and the snow weather type, which results in altered vehicle handling.

Although Rockstar Games has not officially released any information on the new update, insider sources claim that the update will be launching this week, with additional minor content to be added next week.

Update: The Festive Surprise 2016 update is now available.
