Nintendo has announced it will be releasing a Classic Mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System in September. The console is the second in the Classic Mini series.
The new console is the second Classic Mini console the company has announced. Last november it released the Classic Mini Nintendo Entertainment System, which came with with 30 titles pre-installed, including Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong and Megaman.
According to a recent press release, the Classic Mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System will contain 21 classic games, including Contra 3: The Alien Wars, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Mega Man X, Star Fox and Star Fox 2, and can be easily plugged in to any monitor supporting HDMI.
With the release of the console in September, players will be able to play Star Fox 2, the sequel to the original Star Fox game that was created during the Super NES era but was never released anywhere.
The Classic Mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System launches on September 29, 2017, for a retail price of $79.99 in North America and €79.99 in Europe. Included in the box are one HDMI cable, one USB cable and two wired Super NES Classic Controllers.
