Development studio Psyonix has announced that it will be bringing Steam Workshop support to Rocket League in December. The update will allow players to import custom maps.
With the new update players will be able to play on maps that are built by the community. The game already supported mods through traditional means, but with the upcoming Steam Workshop support players will be able to select content via the Workshop interface.
Aside from custom maps the workshop is also expected to support custom vehicle models and vehicle reskins.
Psyonix has not yet announced a release date for the new Steam Workshop update. The game developer is also looking into releasing a patch for the PlayStation 4 version of the game to support the PlayStation 4 Pro console.
