Blizzard Entertainment has released a new Overwatch developer diary video in which game director Jeff Kaplan looks back at what the development team has changed since the game launched last May.

The new video gives fans of the franchise insight in what the development team has been doing and what it plans to do in the near future, including potential hero balances, new maps, new heroes and several quality of life improvements.

Kaplan also gave a release window for the game's upcoming Control map Oasis, which has been on the game's Public Test Region for a while now. The map is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2017.

The Overwatch development team is also working on new Seasonal update content, changes to the game's Communication Wheel, which gets new customization functions, and a Spray Wheel, which will allow players to use multiple sprays during combat.

Overwatch launched on May 24th 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
