Rockstar Games has announced the first release date for the Nintendo Switch version of L.A. Noire. The game will release on November 14th in the US and Europe.

Along with the first release date the studio has also released details on the game's technical capabilities. The game will run at 1080P resolution in the docked mode and 720P resolution in the handheld mode.

Whether the game will run at 30 frames per second or 60 frames per second is still unknown. However, it is likely that the game will have to sacrifice frame rates in order to be rendered at higher resolutions.

The Nintendo Switch version of L.A. Noire is one of several new editions the studio is planning to release. Other versions are L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, which is a reimagined version made specifically for the HTC Vive, and re-releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The Nintendo Switch edition of the game is identical to the original 2011 release and includes all of its downloadable content packs. The game will also feature updated control schemes to support both the console's touch screen and its iconic Joy-Con controllers.
