Publisher Bigben Interactive has announced the upcoming action adventure game The Sinking City has been delayed to June. Development studio Frogwares wants to release it in a "less crowded time frame".

The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft.

In the 1920s, on the East Coast of the United States, the half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You are a private investigator, uncovering the truth of what has possessed the city and corrupted the minds of its inhabitants and yours.

The game was scheduled to release on March 21, 2019, but the development studio didn't mention the date often, indicating it might change. The studio has now indeed changed the release date to June 27, 2019.

The Sinking City releases on June 27, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
