Warner Bros. has announced that it has delayed the release of Batman: Return to Arkham. The bundle features an HD remake of two Batman games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. The two games were originally released in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience." said Steve Grayson, a company representative.
The HD remake of the two games is being developed by Virtuous Games, based in Shanghai, China, and is said to be built on Unreal Engine 4. The publisher says it is not able to share a new release date yet. "We feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans." Grayson adds.
The bundle was first announced on May 18th and was supposed to release on July 26th. The game is expected to release for Xbox One and Playstation 4 later this year.
