The strategy games Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Alert will be getting remastered, publisher EA Games announced. The remasters are being developed by Petroglyph Games.

According to a recent announcement, the remastered editions of both games will feature all three expansion packs Covert Ops, Counterstrike and Aftermath, bundled in one remastered collection without microtransactions.

EA Games decided to partner with Petroglyph Games to remaster the titles because the studio comprises of developers who brought the original games to life.

Petroglyph Games includes many of the original developers from Westwood Studios, and some of the most influential members of the original Command & Conquer development team from 1995.

In addition, the 4K resolution artwork for the game will be created by Lemon Sky Studios. The studio is said to have "a unique specialty" in remastering classic RTS titles.

Development of the remastered editions have yet to start. A release date was not yet announced.
