The MMORPG game WildStar will shut down its servers in November, development studio Carbine Studios announced. The servers are being shut down because of the studio's closure.
According to the announcement, the game's servers will stay up and running until November 28, 2018. Players who purchased in-game items or membership after July 1st, 2018, will get a full refund.
With the announcement the game has also received its final update that unlocks Signature membership perks for all players without requiring the subscription.
The WildStar servers will be shutting down because Carbine Studios' parent company NCsoft made the decision to close down the studio back in September, likely due to disappointing sales figures.
