Avalanche Studios has announced that its shooter game Generation Zero will release in March. It is the same studio that worked on the Just Cause franchise.

Generation Zero is said to be an open-world action game set in 1980's Sweden, where hostile machines have invaded the serene countryside.

In the game players can go alone, or team up with up to three friends in seamless co-op multiplayer. By utilizing battle tested guerilla tactics, they will be able to lure, cripple, or destroy enemies in intense, creative sandbox skirmishes.

It features a dynamic day and night cycle and dynamic weather system to enhance the gameplay experience. These environmental changes will also impact the way enemies behave and react.

The game is currently being developed by Avalanche Studios. This is the same studio that worked on the Just Cause franchise. It is currently also working with id Software to release Rage 2.

Generation Zero releases on March 26, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
