Indie development studio MBL Development has announced that it will be releasing its aquarium simulator Biotope on Steam Early Access later this month.
The simulation game makes it possible to cultivate, breed and trade populations of fishes and plants, and actively influence their life cycle. Players will be able to use authentic equipment such as filter pumps, lamps, and decorative objects.
Players will face strategic challenges and manage the expansion and operation of the aquarium, with a limited budget. Quests can be completed to earn additional budget for the expansion of the aquarium.
The game is said to contain many decorative objects to allow players to make beautiful and unusual biotopes.
Biotope makes its way to Steam Early Access on July 23, 2019.
