Indie development studio Team Cherry has announced it is working on a sequel to its platformer game Hollow Knight. The game is titled Hollow Knight: Silksong and does not have a release date yet.
In the game players explore a vast, haunted kingdom as they discover enchanting secrets and face foes in lethal, acrobatic combat as you ascend to the peak of a land ruled by silk and song.
The game is the sequel to Hollow Knight, the action adventure game of bugs and heroes. As the lethal hunter Hornet, journey to all-new lands, discover new powers, battle vast hordes of bugs and beasts and uncover ancient secrets tied to your nature and your past.
The original released for PC in 2017 and eventually made its way to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in 2018.
Those who have backed the original game via Kickstarter will be getting this sequel completely free of charge on the PC. Those who pledged $10 AUD or more will be able to choose between the PC and Nintendo Switch version.
Hollow Knight: Silksong will release for PC and Nintendo Switch. On the PC, it will support Windows, Mac and Linux.
