Nintendo of America has announced its president Reggie Fils-Aime will retire. He will be succeeded by Doug Bowser in April.

Fils-Aime joined Nintendo of America in 2003 as vice-president of sales and marketing. He gained popularity because of his iconic E3 press conference appearances. His "My body is ready" line is still used as meme today.

Doug Bowser will succeed Reggie Fils-Aime on April 16, 2019. Bowser joined Nintendo of America in 2015 after spending some time at EA Games.
