Sega Europe has acquired Two Point Hospital developer Two Point Studios, the company announced last Friday.
In the game players build up a hospital from nothing to a masterpiece as they design the most beautiful, or functional, healthcare operation in the whole of Two Point County.
The indie development studio was founded in 2018 by former Lionhead developers Gary Carr, Mark Webley and Ben Hymers. Sega was already the publisher for its latest game.
It is not the first development studio that Sega Europe has acquired. This acquisition follows up those of Creative Assembly and Relic Entertainment.
Two Point Studios is currently working on several unannounced projects, some of which could be revealed this year.
