The developer Cameron Foote, also known as Trix, has reconfirmed that he has been hired by Avalanache Studios to work on future Just Cause franchise titles. The developer was the lead developer of the popular Just Cause 2 and Just Cause 3 multiplayer modifications.
We first learned about the potential hire last April when we received word that the team that was working on the Just Cause 3 version of the multiplayer modification ceased development following talks with Avalanche Studios.
In a statement Foote says that he will continue to work on the Just Cause franchise and states that he "will be able to bring many of the things you know and love from JC2-MP into future Avalanche experiences.".
In addition to the announcement the team notes that it will continue to support Just Cause 2 multiplayer by releasing updates that address bugs and maintain stability.
