Nintendo re-releases three classic Super Mario games for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has officially announced it will be releasing a collection of three classic 3D Super Mario games for the Nintendo Switch. The collection is titled Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

The collection of games contains optimized versions of the 3D Mario games Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. In addition to having higher resolutions than their original versions, the games have been optimized for a smooth gameplay experience on Nintendo Switch.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars also includes an in-game music-player mode to play the music and songs from all three games. Players can also listen to music on their Nintendo Switch systems when the screen is off. It features a total of 175 iconic songs from all three games.

The release is part of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary celebration and will get a limited production run.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is scheduled to release on Friday, September 18, 2020, for Nintendo Switch. It will get a physical retail release as part of a limited production that will be available until approximately March 31, 2021.
