Upcoming updates for the shooter game Wolfenstein: Youngblood will introduce a singleplayer pause menu and add an option to disable enemy health bars.
According to a recent announcement, the development studio behind the game is currently working on two incremental updates. Update 1.0.4 will be releasing later this week and will bring the singleplayer pause menu that was missing in offline mode.
Update 1.0.5 will address more concerning issues, such as tweaking enemy health and providing the ability to hide enemy health bars; a feature that has been highly requested.
This second update is also said to be "addressing the feeling some players have expressed that some enemies feel like 'bullet sponges'", although the studio did not comment on how it will be addressing those complaints.
With update 1.0.5 players can also expect to find more ammunition scattered across maps and additional checkpoints to save progress.
The new Wolfenstein game is set in the 1980s. B.J. Blazkowicz is missing. His last-known whereabouts are Nazi-occupied Paris. The only ones who can find him are his twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz.
Liberate Paris from the Nazi threat as you search for your father in the first open-ended co-op adventure in the series, either with a friend or an AI companion.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood released on July 25, 2019, for PC and on July 26, 2019, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
