Indie development studio Illumination Games has announced the upcoming World War One aerial combat game Skies of Fury DX. The game will release for Nintendo Switch.

According to a press release, in Skies of Fury DX players engage in aerial combat in historic Bloody April, 1917, as both British and German pilots.

Players will be able to select from 10 distinctive aircraft from the World War One era and fly through hand-painted environments as they combat enemies.

Skies of Fury DX is said to contain at least 100 different missions, a singleplayer campaign, multiplayer split-screen modes, unlockable comics based on real Bloody April history and unlocks that affect both the look and handling of your plane.
