The iconic bundle of three Valve games known as The Orange Box has hit its 10th anniversary today. The bundle featured the games Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal.
The bundle released on October 9th, 2007, and featured some of the best video games developed by Valve.
Most notably is the inclusion of the second Half-Life 2 trilogy game Half-Life 2: Episode 2. The development studio never finished the Half-Life 2 trilogy.
The bundle received critical acclaim for featuring three high quality titles for the price of one, with Portal being considered the surprise hit.
Portal was eventually followed up by a sequel, Portal 2, which featured even more content and co-op multiplayer modes. Team Fortress 2 eventually became a free-to-play title and still receives updates to this day.
