Publisher Gearbox will bring its shooter game Bulletstorm to the Nintendo Switch later this year. The console will get a separate edition of the game.

The Duke of Switch Edition is the same game that is already available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will contain all previous downloadable content as well as Duke Nukem as playable character.

The Nintendo Switch release was announced during the PAX East gaming convention. The publisher noted it did not run into any major issues while porting the game to the handheld platform.

Whether the game will contain the same graphical fidelity as its PC counterpart is still unknown.

Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition does not yet have a release date. It is expected to release this summer.
