Bethesda has announced its new sci-fi role-playing game Starfield during its E3 2018 press conference earlier this week. The game was announced with a teaser trailer.
According to a recent press release, Starfield is the new "space epic" currently in development at the studio and is the first new franchise in over 25 years.

What story the game will tell and what gameplay mechanics will be available have yet to be revealed. The trailer briefly shows a space station that is similar to the TranStar space station seen in the studio's shooter game Prey.
Starfield is expected to release in the fall of 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
