Development studio 4A Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming shooter game Metro Exodus. The trailer focuses on the story of the game.
In the game players flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an "epic, continent-spanning" journey across post-apocalyptic Russia.
Players will explore the Russian wilderness in "vast, non-linear levels" and follow a storyline that is inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.
The game's dangerous and hostile world is a constant threat as radiation levels are high. Players will have to monitor their gas mask filters and their available resources to craft items and ammunition.
Earlier this week the development studio also confirmed the game will include a dedicated Photo Mode. The Photo Mode will be available for all platforms.
Metro Exodus releases on February 15, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
