The development team behind the popular Half-Life remake Black Mesa has released a new trailer for the game's last chapter Xen. The chapter will be added to the game in 2019.
According to a recent statement, the team is "happy with the design state of Xen" with almost all design being locked and functioning as intended.
The last missing chapter is said to take roughly 6 hours to complete and longer for those who like to explore the new environments. The Xen environments are largely original work with inspiration taken from the original Half-Life.
The Black Mesa Xen update has been in development for several years after the team released the game on Steam. The remaining Xen chapters are scheduled to release in the second quarter of 2019.
