Sony has released a new gameplay trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive game God of War. The game was announced in June.

God of War is said to have an emphasis on discovery and exploration as it features the largest landscape in the franchise's history.

The game features a shoulder free camera that brings the player closer to the action. Fights in God of War mirror the pantheon of Norse creatures Kratos will face: grand, gritty, and grueling.

The game's first trailer was released in June and sheds light on its gameplay, environments and story.

God of War is scheduled to launch in early 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
