The CPU of the new console is supposedly running at 2.1Ghz, only a 500 MHz bump per core compared to the original model. The GPU will get a significant upgrade with the new model featuring a GPU with 36 CU's running at 911 MHz.
With the new hardware developers will be able to squeeze more performance out of the console that is required to be able to run games in 4K resolution and to support virtual reality experiences. Whether the leaked documents are actually legitimate remains to be seen.
