Development studio Media Molecule has released the Early Access version of Dreams. In the game players can create, share and play infinite user-created "dreams" in this follow-up to Little Big Planet.
Dreams Early Access is said to be the perfect entry point into the world of Dreams, designed specifically for creators to get hands on with its tools.
Since the game is still in this Early Access phase it will still be missing some content currently planned for the full release, such as a full-fledged story mode. However, players will get to select from the final build's full tool set, dozens of interactive tutorials, arcade games, templates and further content that will be added before its final release. All the levels shared by other players can be played at any time, once uploaded.
While the development studio has not announced a release date for the full game just yet, it did confirm that those who purchase this Early Access version will get the full release at no additional cost once it becomes available.
Dreams Early Access released on April 16, 2019, exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It currently retails for $29.99 in North America and €29.99 in Europe.
