According to the rumors, the game is set in Egypt and it will feature both a male and a female protagonist. Compared to previous titles in the franchise players are said to have a lot more freedom to explore the game's environment.

The game is also said to feature a new character progression system that is tied to the game's singleplayer campaign, though exact details have not been released yet.
Ubisoft has not yet commented on the leak, but it is known that the company is currently working on a new Assassin's Creed title. The new game will the 20th entry in the franchise.
