Ubisoft has launched the racing game Trackmania 2 Lagoon for PC. The game is a standalone game within the Trackmania 2 universe.

The new standalone racing game features a 65-track solo campaign amid soaring tropical tracks, as well as six multiplayer game modes and the ability to create new tracks and events in its tropical setting.

The tracks included in the new game are inspired by the Lagoon tracks featured in the racing game Trackmania Turbo that was released last year.

The tracks feature the iconic over-the-top racing action from the previous Trackmania titles and players are able to challenge others in Time Attack, Round, Team, Cup, Laps, and Chase events.

Two weeks ago the development studio behind the Trackmania franchise, Nadeo, also released major update for Maniaplanet, the hub that powers the game's multiplayer experience.

Trackmania 2 Lagoon is now available for PC via Steam, Uplay, and Maniaplanet. A free demo is also available via the game's Steam Store page.
