Ubisoft has announced that it has delayed South Park: The Fractured But Whole to the first quarter of 2017. The game was scheduled to launch in December.
In the announcement Ubisoft states that it had decided to delay the release of the game because it wants to make sure that it "meets the high expectations of fans.".
South Park: The Fractured But Whole was first announced at Ubisoft's E3 2016 press conference in June.
After the events of South Park: The Stick of Truth, the children of South Park become role-playing superheroes. However, a falling-out over Cartman's planned film franchise splinters the boys into two groups, with some calling for a civil war to make their own franchise.
In the game players once again play as "The New Kid". New in South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the ability to change his gender to female if players wish to do so.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will feature twelve superhero classes.
