It seems that Rockstar Games has spilled the beans on the release date of Max Payne 3. The special edition that has recently been added to Rockstar's Amazon listings show that the game is set to release on March 13th 2012!As such the European launch date for Max Payne 3 is most likely Friday, March 16th 2012. Although these dates can't be confirmed, they are listed on Amazon so chances are that these details and dates are most likely correct.Amazon is also listing March 6th as a release date for the PC version, though that's highly unlikely as Rockstar Games doesn't release games on a sunday.Thanks to emmi18176860 for sending this in!

Rockstar Games has just released a new gameplay video for their new upcoming title, Max Payne 3. The video series offer a detailed look at the targeting mechanics, movement and animation, enemy intelligence and other technical design innovations going into building an advanced, intense and immersive action-shooter with Max Payne 3.The things shown in the gameplay series today are Animations, shooting mechanics, AI, bullet time and more. One of the things that really pop out in this gameplay video is the shotgun bullet time that will surely bring some awesome videos!

A new Max Payne 3 trailer might be releasing sooner than we'd expect. Gametrailers has featured an advertisement for a new Max Payne 3 trailer but apparently that advertisement has been removed shortly after.The advertisement counted down to a date and time 3 days from now, so perhaps a new trailer is releasing on the 18th of November. One of the things that don't quite add up is the time of the release of the trailer.Almost all trailers release 2 hours before the countdown was supposed to end, that might be the reason why it was taken down so soon after people noticed it. Rockstar has just released 4 new screenshots from Max Payne 3. The screenshots feature some intense explosion footage along with bullet time and really shows what the updated RAGE engine is capable of.The screenshots also feature dynamic injuries and a new cover system much like how the cover system of Grand Theft Auto 4 panned out. A new photo has been surfacing on the web that shows somekind of Max Payne 3 intro sequence screen or menu screen with the Select and Back text visible as well. The only option available in the build, that seems to be running here, is story mode which leads us to believe that this is a preview copy.It is currently unknown who took the photo or how they got the game but it was MaxPayne.hu a hungarian Max Payne fansite that dug up the photo. Perhaps more photos will appear over the course of time!

Rockstar Games has recently revealed that they will be showcasing Max Payne 3 at Comic Con this year. No surprise there, as the Max Payne series have always featured some comic aspect in the games. If you are planning on heading to the show, stop by the Rockstar Games booth (Booth #1604 near the main entrance) for a special gameplay demo, and look out for more details about Rockstar Games' presence at New York Comic Con later this week.In adition to that there is rumours that Rockstar Games is preparing to release a new Max Payne 3 trailer right before or right after Comic Con, but we'll see what happens. Rockstar Games has just released 3 new screenshots from Max Payne 3 that is set to release March 2012. The screenshots feature some epic action scenes and there appears to be usage of the new and revamped bullet time.Even though the game is still a long way from finished the screenshots do look very promising and can only make us think of what's next.

In recent events, IGN has posted a few more Max Payne 3 screenshots that seem to show bullet time and shootouts in jungle-ish settings though we can also see what appears to be some hotel interiors that could indicate that the series is still making a move to New York City.

Rockstar Games has just released the first ever trailer for the upcoming Max Payne game, Max Payne 3. The trailer shows a number of new gameplay elements as well as the return of Max Payne in a new engine, the RAGE engine. We can see euphoria physics, just like those that have been used in Grand Theft Auto 4 and much more.

This week seems to be no different in terms of Max Payne 3 news as it seems that Rockstar Games is featuring Max Payne 3 content at FirstLook 2011. Though it has been confirmed that there won't be a hands-on demo with the game, Rockstar wants to set themselves apart from the rest and thus they are featuing special Max Payne 3 content.Our guess is that it is likely to be trailer or goodies related, as it is said that the FirstLook visitor is in for a treat! Rockstar Games has just announced that the very first trailer for Max Payne 3 is going to be released next week, on Wednesday, September 14th! The trailer will be available at noon Eastern time (which is 5 PM GMT). Rockstar Games has just announced that the next Max Payne installment, Max Payne 3 is set to be in the shelfs by March 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in North America and Europe. Earlier today we reported about a possible multiplayer component in the game and that has now been confirmed.Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long.In addition to an expansive single-player campaign, Max Payne 3 will also be the first entry in the series to introduce a thorough and engrossing multiplayer experience. In a unique twist, Max Payne 3 multiplayer delivers a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and leveling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options.

More and more details are coming out of the woodwork about Max Payne 3. It seems that in a recent interview with gaming magazine Edge Rockstar Games has announced that Max Payne 3 will feature multiplayer. How the multiplayer modes actually pan out is still unknown though many people are already complaining about this decision because Max Payne has always been a true singleplayer game.I think that argument is rather invalid because I doubt that singleplayer is affected by the multiplayer modes, so if you don't like multiplayer in Max Payne then just don't play multiplayer. Other details include a location, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The game is said to be using a new cover system and a new engine that makes everything fully destructible.The typical bullettime, that every Max Payne player knows, will this time be generated by fragging the enemies. How that is going to work if there are no enemies around is still a little unclear though I guess that bullettime will also regenerate by time.Earlier reports revealed that Rockstar Games wanted to hire a new voice actor for Max Payne but these rumours are now debunked as the same voice actor will return to the game. More details are likely to be released soon, until then keep an eye on Rockstar Informer!

Rockstar has just put up two new screenshots of their new upcoming Max Payne game, Max Payne 3. The game is believed to run the RAGE engine and if so the screenshots above and below show what work has been put into the engine.If this really is the RAGE engine doing it's job then we can only wonder what's in store for us when Rockstar Games announces Grand Theft Auto V, as it will most likely utilize the same RAGE engine.
