The futuristic combat racing game GRIP will be making its way out of its Early Access development phase this fall. The game will also release for consoles.
The racing game is inspired by Rollcage games that were released in 1999 and 2000 and is said to be a return to hardcore combat racing genre, featuring heavy weapons and ferocious speed.
The game was partially funded via a funding campaign that launched in 2015 and made its way to Steam Early Access in February 2016.
The game is built on Unreal Engine 4 to power its visuals. It features several game modes, multiplayer functionality, exotic environments, armored vehicles, a wide range of pick-ups in the form of power-ups and weapons, and a unique soundtrack.
GRIP will release this fall for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
