Turtle Rock Studios has announced a new virtual reality experience titled Blade Runner 2049: Replicant Pursuit. The studio is known for its involvement in the development of Left 4 Dead and Evolve Stage 2.


According to a recent press release, the product is one of three experiences from three different developers. In the first installment players pilot the iconic spinner to track down and "retire" a rogue replicant.

The first title in the Blade Runner 2049 VR spin-off series is titled "Replicant Pursuit" and is being developed by Turtle Rock Studios. The studio is known for its involvement in the development of Left 4 Dead and Evolve Stage 2.

The other two games are said to be released later this year to promote the new Blade Runner 2049 movie that is scheduled to launch in October.

Blade Runner 2049: Replicant Pursuit launches on July 21, 2017, exclusively for the Gear VR virtual reality headset.
