Grand Theft Auto modding team adds Liberty City map to Grand Theft Auto V

The developers behind the Grand Theft Auto modding tool OpenIV have announced that the group has successfully ported over the popular Liberty City map from Grand Theft Auto IV to Grand Theft Auto V.
With the OpenIV tool modders are able to open encrypted archives that contain models, textures and sounds that are used in Grand Theft Auto games by reading the encryption key stored in the game's executable.

It is currently unknown whether the map modification will be available any time soon, but one OpenIV developer did state that the group hopes to release it as soon as possible.
Because the models used in the modification are protected by copyright, players will be required to own both a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V to be able to successfully install it.
Once the modification is available, players will be able to explore both Liberty City and Los Santos in the same game, as the modification only adds content to the existing map instead of replacing it.
