Paradox Interactive has released a new trailer for Hearts of Iron IV. The World War II strategy game has been in development for over a year and is now available for purchase.
The game was first announced in January of 2014 and was supposed to release in the first quarter of 2015. The developer later delayed the release of the game to the second quarter of 2015 but right before the release of the game the developer announced additional delays in order to further polish the game.
The game lets players take command of any nation in World War II as they decide on strategic moves to one-up the enemy. The game features both land, sea and air strategic combat and, according to the game's developer, authentic real-time war simulations.
In addition the game features a 32 player online multiplayer mode in which players can either play competitively or join forces via one of the cooperative modes. the multiplayer component of the game is platform independent, meaning that players from all versions of the game can battle it out against eachother.
The game is available for purchase now for PC, Mac and Linux devices.
