The shooter game Metro Exodus will release a week earlier than expected. The game will now release on February 15, 2019.
The game was scheduled to release on February 22, 2019, but will now release a week earlier instead due to the game's development being slightly ahead of schedule.
To celebrate the upcoming release of the game, development studio 4A Games has also released a new CGI trailer.
In the game players flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an "epic, continent-spanning" journey across post-apocalyptic Russia.
Players will explore the Russian wilderness in "vast, non-linear levels" and follow a storyline that is inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.
The game's dangerous and hostile world is a constant threat as radiation levels are high. Players will have to monitor their gasmask filters and their available resources to craft items and ammunition.
