Indie developer Tyler McDermott has announced that his pixel art rogue-lite Night of the Blood Moon will release next week. The game is already available via Steam Early Access.


According to a recent announcement, Night of the Blood Moon is a difficult Rogue-lite with unique weapons, and charming manifestations. Become the Nightmare and grow with power, conquer many imaginative lands, and defeat bosses who will challenge your strategy along side your skill.

Players will have access to a variety of weapons, including hookshots, boomerangs, and spellbooks, that may take time to master.

The game also features an Eclipse Mode, which lets players start with nothing, and get stronger until they can't handle it anymore. In the current build this mode has no limits.

Night of the Blood Moon releases on January 21, 2019, for PC.
