Nintendo has released a three-part making-of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild video series that gives insight in the game's development process.

The new three-part video series give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the development process of the game, ranging from character and story design to soundtrack and level design.
The making-of videos not only feature interviews with some of the game's developers, but also show brainstorming sessions, soundtrack recording sessions and the creation of concept artwork.

Most notably the developers of the game discuss some of the choices that were made during the development of the game, such as the way Zelda should look and interact with Link and the way the game's map was designed.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched on March 3rd 2017 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U.
