Redbeet Interactive has announced the upcoming indie survival game Raft via the release of a new teaser trailer.
Raft throws you and your friends into an epic adventure out on the big open sea, with the objective to stay alive, gather resources and build yourself a floating home worthy of survival.
Players will have to make sure to catch whatever debris floats by using their trusty hook and when possible. Gathered resources can then be used to build their floating home, which can be destroyed by sharks.
Floating debris isn't the only way to gather resources, however, because players will also be able to drive into the ocean to find valuable resources.
The game is said to feature online co-op multiplayer capabilities that will allow players to invite their friends to build the floating home and survive together.
A crafting system is also expected to be available which can be used to build survival equipment, weapons and crop plots.
Raft will be making its way to Steam Early Access in early 2018 for PC. An early build of the game was already available via its own website since early 2017. A console release has not been announced yet.
