Sony has announced that it has released a demo version of the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive adventure game Knack 2. The game is the direct sequel to the first game, Knack, which released in 2013.
In Knack 2 players control the eponymous character Knack. Knack can punch, kick, change size, deflect projectiles using a shield, and has other combat abilities.
In the game player have to navigate the character Knack through a series of levels viewed in a fixed camera. Knack is a living humanoid organism that consists of Relics; a large central Relic is always surrounded by a varying amount of smaller Relics.
The game features a skill tree system where players can upgrade Knack's abilities by collecting Relic Energy found in levels. The game also features co-op multiplayer functionality.
The demo version totals at roughly 2.6 GB in filesize and includes the same level that was already shown at several trade show events. The demo is now available via the PlayStation Store.
Knack 2 launches on September 6, 2017, exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
Update: The demo is currently only available on the European and Australian versions of the PlayStation Store.
