Splatoon 2 gets singleplayer campaign, new trailer released

Nintendo has announced that the cartoon shooter game Splatoon 2 will be getting a singleplayer campaign.

In the singleplayer campaign Callie of the Squid Sisters has gone missing and it’s up to the player to search for Callie and the Great Zapfish while battling against the Octarian army.
Players will be able to use different weapons to overcome obstacles, defeat enemies and take down towering bosses. Weapons include the Roller, Slosher, Splatling, and the new Dualies.

Splatoon 2 is the direct sequel to the original Splatoon game. The game will feature new weapons, new stages and new gameplay strategies to be discovered and mastered.

Splatoon 2 launches on July 21st exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
